JUST ADDED - As an addition to BEER ENGINE and Cleveland
Beer Week
We Welcome 'Big Chuck' Schodowski Saturday, October
17th, 3:00pm!
Meet
Cleveland horror host legend 'Big Chuck' Schodowski and
the founder of Midnight
Syndicate Halloween Music CDs, Edward Douglas. This is a real Cleveland event. Watch Big
Chuck take you through Cleveland television history as he talks about his career, then partake in trivia and giveaways from both Big
Chuck and Midnight Syndicate. Then, meet Edward Douglas as he talks about his upcoming horror film "THE DEAD MATTER" (starring Big Chuck, Tom
Savini, and others), Q and A with Big Chuck following the
trailer. "The Dead Matter" incorporates Cleveland's own Buckeye Brewing 'Hippie
IPA' and Akron's 'Siberian Night' from Thirsty Dog Brewing
Company. Garin Wright and Robert Wright of Buckeye will be pouring Hippie IPA,
and John Najeway, owner of Thirsty Dog, will be pouring his
Pumpkin Ale. Also, just in time for Halloween, Midnight Syndicate Halloween CD's! Be here folks! This is old school Cleveland
culture at its finest.
Edward Douglas: Edward is the founder of the recording act, Midnight Syndicate. He also
founded Entity Productions which (as Midnight Syndicate's
distributor) has become one of the largest suppliers of original
Halloween music in the world. In 2007, he returned
to his filmmaking roots by forming Midnight Syndicate Films and beginning
production on a remake of his 1996, horror film,
"The Dead Matter." Midnight Syndicate - WIKI

VOTE
FOR BEST BURGER IN
CLEVELAND
BEER ENGINE nominated for best
burger. Please take time to vote for your
favorite
Burger place in Cleveland as a
part of FOX 8's HOT LIST. Burger category here.
With all this burger talk, and
please vote for us, let's play some trivia. This is for our hard core
burger connoisseur's. Name (5) five BEER ENGINE
'Burger's of the Month' for the year 2009. We've had nine so far.
First one to email
back the correct answer to contest@buckeyebeerengine.com wins a
$50 ENGINE FUEL gift card.
Include Name
and Address, will mail or hold at
BEER ENGINE. Good Luck! Wait a minute, a hint. The upcoming
October
'Burger
of the Month' is coined after an
animated (well, I guess Robin Williams wasn't) character
that
eats a green,
leafy veggie that pumps him up
like Arnold. You can use that hint
as 1 of the 5 necessary to win. But too bad
this
future Burger of the Month doesn't
have any Olive Oyl on it. 'I mean, I'll gladly pay you Tuesday
for a (BEER ENGINE) hamburger
today.' Nope, try winning the ENGINE FUEL. CONTEST NOW
OVER
Friday, October 16th through Saturday, October 24th
First
annual event focusing on the promotion of craft and import beer
